Have you been wondering why am I writing this blog and nobody is following it? Theres many reasons your blog is not being read and followed. Some major reasons are your not getting your message in front of the right audience. Another possible reason could be that your information is duplicated from other information on the internet, or maybe the way your writing the material in your blog is not interesting.

If your having problems with getting followers because your not writing quality content your just blasting information that has relatively low seo value, I would suggest to rather wait to make a blog post until you have thought about it and gathered all the important information that your audience is going to want to read. At the same time I would say to keep a regular following to try to atleast have one post per week.
Google likes good quality original content rather than lots of content of sub par quality. Just as google gives high quality content preference when ranking blogs of the same subject matter, most humans who would read your blog will follow the same principles when it comes to choosing which blog to read and trust on a subject matter.
This is just my two cents and some real life experience I’ve seen when it comes to blogging and website seo.

Im using wordpress. WordPress is very easy to use out of the box especially for those who are not familiar with programming. It gives you many themes to choose from and is very easy to point and click to customize to your liking. It also works for those who are more technically inclined who want to customize it even more. I find the hardest part of using wordpress to blog with, is making sure I have quality information I write to blog about that is useful information to my readers. I am currently using wordpress. Ive used blogger but feel like this is a more effective platform. I’ve heard of live journal but really never played with it so I cant give you much feedback on that platform. If your a newbie and not very tech saavy blogger and wordpress are both very simple to use with many custom templates. I like that wordpress is also for someone more tech saavy and gives you more flexibility in my opinion than blogger to tweak to your taste.
